{"id":2639,"date":"2012-11-15T10:08:26","date_gmt":"2012-11-15T15:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elenamaximova.org\/food\/?p=2639"},"modified":"2012-11-15T10:09:18","modified_gmt":"2012-11-15T15:09:18","slug":"fiskibollur-fish-balls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elenamaximova.org\/food\/2012\/11\/15\/fiskibollur-fish-balls\/","title":{"rendered":"Fiskibollur: Fish Balls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 &#8211; 1.5 lb fish filet (I combined equal parts of cod and flounder)<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 onion<\/li>\n<li>about 1\/2 cup of flour<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp of potato starch (corn starch should work as well)<\/li>\n<li>salt to taste (about 1 1\/2 tsp)<\/li>\n<li>some milk if needed<\/li>\n<li>oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a food processor combine fish and onion. Process until smooth. Add flour, starch and salt and mix well. Add eggs and if mixture is too dense add some milk (I didn&#8217;t add any because mine was just fine). Mix. Wet your hands and form small balls. Fry them on medium heat in a skillet or wok.
